Non-Profit Organizations
The Poiema Foundation educates the public and raises awareness in order to prevent sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and other methods of sexual exploitation. We also facilitate the restoration journey of survivors by providing for their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Traffick911 exists to free youth from sex trafficking with a three-prong strategy of prevention, identification and empowerment. Our youth prevention program called Traps, teaches youth how to #BeSmartStayFree from traffickers by understanding their tricks, traps and lures.
Refuge for Women is a 3-phase program that lasts up to 12 months. A safe place has been created for residents to experience healing with few distractions. The key aspects of the Refuge for Women program are sobriety, healing from trauma, and rebuilding trust.

Ranch Hands Rescue fills a special niche in mental health counseling services in that we specialize in treating the more complex trauma cases, such as victims of severe and repetitive abuse and people not making progress in their current treatment programs. We heal emotionally battered people and severely abused animals, then give them a purpose at Ranch Hands Rescue – through our Equine and Animal Assisted Counseling (EAAC) program, facilitated by specifically selected Licensed Professional Counselors and LPC Interns.
Anti-Human Trafficking Coalitions
C7 Human Trafficking Coalition is a collaborative effort between local church ministries, agencies, non-profits and law enforcement to find the solution in eradicating trafficking in our area, city and state.
Our mission is to educate and mobilize the community to work against human trafficking in the North Texas region and to empower survivors of human trafficking through specialized comprehensive social, medical, and legal services, advocacy, and extensive research.
TC 5-Stones is a community network engaged in collaborative efforts to end Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking in Tarrant County.
